Skip Bush has announced his retirement. He will officially be our pastor until July 1, 2015; however, his last Sunday in the pulpit will be Mother’s Day 2015. Skip’s advance notice has allowed us to begin developing the forms required by the Presbytery to hire a new minister. We must submit our specific needs as a congregation by August. Hence, the following survey is provided for your completion.
Please fill out the survey prayerfully, and to the best of your ability. You need not be a member; all who attend are welcome to have their voice heard. In fact, we encourage each individual member of the household to complete their own survey. Please pick up a form at the church or complete the online survey, whichever way you feel more comfortable, and return it to the church by July 20th. You may sign it if you wish, or remain anonymous. You may drop off the survey at the sound booth, mail to the office, or simply click the link and complete online. The Task Force will collate all of the responses. And then the fun begins!
So, fill out the survey, and help begin the process for finding a new pastor, and always remember the Irish proverb: “God never closes one door without opening another.” Peace be with you all.
Yours in Christ,
The New Minister Task Force Committee
